Life School continues to make communication for families more effective thanks to newly-received grants. The district was awarded two grants by the Byrne Family Foundation Trust to help purchase Translate Live devices for multiple schools, easing communication between faculty, staff, and parents who speak different languages.

Maliq Baldwin, a Life High School Waxahachie (LHSW) senior, made history as the first Life School student to earn a spot in the prestigious state-level band. Playing the tuba, Maliq accomplished this remarkable achievement after earning a spot at the state competition, where he performed on February 15th. This outstanding accomplishment marks a significant milestone for both Maliq and Life School’s music program.

Jeremy Trojacek, owner of Chick-fil-A Red Oak, shared an inspirational message with the Life School coaching staff at Life High School Waxahachie, focusing on self-care during challenging times. His message focused on creating a proactive action plan for the future.

Life School Oak Cliff is proud to celebrate Dr. Amanda Andrews receiving the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from Hardin-Simmons University. This prestigious recognition honors individuals who have excelled in their careers and made a lasting impact on their communities. Dr. Andrews embodies these qualities through her daily work as an athletic trainer, educator and mentor.
