The Life High School Waxahachie (LHSW) Girls Soccer Team continues its historic undefeated season, securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Stephenville on Tuesday, April 1, to advance to the State Soccer Semifinals.
With an impressive record of 27-0, the Lady Mustangs are on the verge of making history as they chase the school's first-ever state championship title. Their relentless determination and teamwork have propelled them to this momentous stage. The girls have dominated the competition all season, outscoring their opponents by an astonishing margin of 152-6.
“This season has been an incredible journey for our team. The girls have shown unwavering determination, pushing through every challenge with grit and heart. To reach the state semifinal for the first time in Life School’s history is a testament to their hard work and belief in each other. We’re so grateful for this opportunity and the support we’ve received. Now we’re ready to give everything we’ve got to make our school and community proud,” said Girls' Soccer Coach Chase Bishop.
The Lady Mustangs will face the Celina Bobcats in the State Semifinals round of the playoffs. The game will take place at Sachse High School Stadium (3901 Miles Rd, Sachse, TX 75048) on Friday, April 5, 2025, at 5:30 PM.
