Strategic Plan

Preparing for tomorrow.

Strategic Plan

Goal 1: Strong Academics

Close the Opportunity Gap

  • Instructional Standards
    • Provide clarity of expectation through written guidelines that allow for the transfer of knowledge from teacher to student.
  • On 3 By 3
    • Reading is the foundation that opens the door to life. Prepare students to be lifelong learners by teaching them to learn to read so they are able to read to learn.
  • CCMR - College, Career and Military Ready
    • Prepare students through life experiences to help them discern for themselves and make wise choices in school and beyond.

Employer of Choice

  • Qualified Experienced Teachers
    • Recruit and retain teachers who care for every child’s social, emotional and educational needs and have the necessary talent to engage their hearts and minds.
  • Employee Engagement Opportunities
    • Serve teachers well, so they are compelled to serve in alignment with the Life School mission.
  • Comprehensive Listening Program
    • Leadership team members proactively listen with the intent to understand and take action to meet the needs of teachers.

School of Choice

  • K-2 Experience
    • Proactively connect with parents and provide the necessary support for each student to be a successful LifeLeader.
  • LifeLeader Partnership Agreement
    • Create alignment with elementary parents by simplifying expectations through the LifeLeader Partnership Agreement.
  • Resources for Monitoring Grades and Attendance
    • Partner with parents to cultivate the LifeLeader attribute of Citizenship by ensuring students are actively participating in school.

Goal 2: Character Training

LifeLeader

  • Life Habits Comprehensive Program
    • Provide intentional reflection time within the school day to learn habits that align with the LifeLeader attributes.

Growth and Development

  • Individualized Approach
    • Understand the unique needs of teachers and students to ensure everyone is fully known, loved, and supported in achieving their goals.

Goal 3: Partnerships with Parents and the Community

Parent Engagement

  • Partners for Life
    • Children learn from all of the adults in their life. We invite parents and families to serve alongside us in developing leaders with life skills.

Community Engagement

  • Business and Community Partners
    • It takes a village to raise a LifeLeader. We invite business and community partners to serve alongside us in developing leaders with life skills.
