Students and staff are encouraged to dress up next week as we close out Black History Month!Monday Feb. 23rd- Blackout Day Wear black shirts with uniform bottoms. Tuesday Feb. 24th- Athlete/Sports DayWear jerseys/sports gear from your favorite Black athlete or sports team with uniform bottoms. Wednesday Feb. 25th- HBCU Day Wear HBCU/college shirts with uniform bottoms. Thursday Feb. 26th- Colorful Day Wear yellow, black, red or green shirts with uniform bottoms. Friday Feb. 27th- Traditional Attire DayWear traditional African/Black clothing (Dashiki’s, African dresses, etc.) Jeans are allowed for $2. 

The LSOC Lion Cheerleading Team will be holding tryouts on March 2nd-March 5th from 4:30pm-6:30pm in the Main Gym. Students must be passing in order to try out. There will also be a mandatory parent meeting on February 23rd in the Cafeteria at 5pm. Students may stop by the HS or MS Office to receive a try out packet. The packets must be turned in to Ms. Reece or Ms. Jackson by February 26th.
