We hope you are enjoying a much-deserved summer break. Undoubtedly, many of you have heard of the passing of House Bill 3 during the 86th session of the Texas Legislature. This bill, now signed into law, is the first major overhaul to school funding in more than 30 years. In an effort to use our information literacy, Life School continues to await further guidance and direction from TEA in regards to funding implications on charter schools.
Good news! The board recently approved raises for all staff and you are about to receive your individual 2019-2020 Compensation & Benefits statement via email. Please note, any teacher/staff pay raise provided from Senate Bill 3 will be evaluated at the conclusion of the current legislative session and addressed if needed.
