Last month, several Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) students competed at the National Level at the Educators Rising National Competition in Washington, D.C. The group included ten students from Life High School Oak Cliff and Life High School Waxahachie who competed in various events.

Among the group, two students from Life High School Waxahachie, Noah Davis and Jaiden Berry, achieved National success. The duo received a score of 100 on their Interactive Bulletin Board presentation and are in the Blue Ribbon category, placing first in the nation among other competitors who also received a score of 100.
“We are so proud of these young women and men who represented Life School at the national level. They competed confidently, behaved amazingly, became good friends, and represented their district well on this trip,” said Leigh Dopson, CTE/CCMR Manager.
The student competitors are part of the Life School Education and Training program. The Education and Teaching program is a four-year CTE (Career and Technical Education) program that provides high school students with a comprehensive introduction to the field of education.
