Life School TAFE Students Advance to National Competition

Life School is proud to announce that several Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) students have qualified to compete at the Educators Rising National Competition in Washington DC. Among these talented individuals are students from both Life High School Oak Cliff and Life High School Waxahachie, marking a significant achievement for the entire district. 

Life School’s participation in TAFE is still relatively new, with both campuses being in the program less than five years. This year is a monumental year as Life High School Oak Cliff had their first ever group of students advance to the national competition, a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.

The students attending the conference are part of the Education and Training program at Life School. The Education and Teaching program is a four-year CTE (Career and Technical Education) program that provides high school students with a comprehensive introduction to the field of education.

The national competition will be hosted in Washington DC from June 28-July 1, 2024.

Life School extends its congratulations to all the students who have advanced to the national competition and wishes them the best of luck as they prepare to showcase their talents on a national platform.
