Dr. Brent Wilson Signing Land Purchase Agreement

Life School Announces Exciting Expansion Plans

Life School, a charter school network in operation for over a quarter-century, announces its latest expansion efforts to provide quality educational opportunities that will serve the growing needs of their families and students.

Founded in 1998, Life School began with 266 students and 15 staff members. Today, it boasts over 5,700 students, more than 650 staff members, and has celebrated over 3,000 graduates.

In Fall 2023, Life School purchased a 105-acre site intended to relocate the Life High School Oak Cliff campus to Duncanville. The new Duncanville property is centrally located among the Life School Oak Cliff, Mountain Creek, Cedar Hill, and Lancaster campuses and will soon become home to new high school and middle school buildings, along with athletic, art and CTE facilities. The new campus will accommodate over 1,200 high school students and eventually 750 middle school students.

While the Life High School Oak Cliff campus will be relocated to the Duncanville site, Oak Cliff Elementary and Middle Schools will remain at the original location, where Life School first opened its doors over 25 years ago.

“A new expansion site for our Oak Cliff campus has long been a priority for Life School,” says Life School Superintendent Dr. Brent Wilson. “The new site will give us the opportunity to better serve our students with new state of the art facilities in a location that is more centralized for our current families who reside throughout South Dallas, Duncanville, Desoto and surrounding communities.”

Life School is excited to unveil conceptual images of the proposed campus at the district’s 25th Anniversary Celebration event on April 18th. Life School invites the community to join in celebrating its ongoing success and to look forward to the future opportunities these expansions will bring.
