Life Middle School Oak Cliff (LMSOC) is delighted to announce that it has received a significant donation from the prestigious organization, Dallas Winds. This donation includes a variety of instruments, including flutes, alto and tenor saxophones, trumpets and trombones.
The Dallas Winds, known for its commitment to fostering a love for music and supporting local educational initiatives, has stepped forward with a generous donation of musical instruments to help Life Middle School Oak Cliff rebuild its inventory. This donation is a testament to the organization's dedication to nurturing the talent of young musicians in the Oak Cliff community.
Rachel Mallon, Band Director at Life Middle School Oak Cliff, expressed her gratitude for the support from Dallas Winds. She stated, "I am so grateful for Dallas Winds and Friends of WRR for giving my students an opportunity to further their music education. I believe my students will do great things and rise to the occasion if given the opportunity, so thank you for providing it for them!”
The generous contribution from Dallas Winds will help reinvigorate the music program and provide students with the resources they need to pursue their passion for music. The school is committed to ensuring that the instruments provided by Dallas Winds are put to good use and that the music program continues to thrive and inspire young musicians for years to come.
