Life High School Waxahachie junior Kailee Armstrong has reached a milestone achievement, scoring her 100th career goal during her third season with the Mustangs Girls Soccer program. The forward's historic accomplishment underscores the rapid growth and success of the school's athletic program.
Armstrong, who serves as the team's offensive leader, achieved this remarkable feat in just three years of high school competition. Her 100 career goals place her among the elite scorers in Texas high school soccer.
"Kailee is an exceptional attacker who combines speed, agility and clinical finishing in front of the goal," said Coach Chase Bishop. "We're so proud of her, and all of her amazing accomplishments so far. Kailee is surrounded by amazing teammates who all work hard for each other and support the team. Scoring 100 career goals is an amazing achievement, and even more so to do this in just her third year. I'm honored to be her coach and can't wait to see what else she can do."
Armstrong's individual success reflects Life School's commitment to developing both athletic excellence and strong character. The athletic program, which serves over 1,200 student-athletes across 17 interscholastic sports, operates on four core principles: leadership, integrity, family, and excellence.
"I'm thankful for my teammates, my coaches, and my family for always supporting me and helping me be successful on and off the field," Armstrong said. "It feels really good to be able to help my team reach our goals!"
The junior forward has earned numerous accolades throughout her high school career, including:
- 2024-2025 Team Offensive MVP
- 2023-2024 Team Offensive MVP
- 2023-2024 District 6-4A Offensive MVP
- 2024 1st Team All State
- 2025 2nd Team All State
Since Armstrong joined the program as a freshman, the Mustangs Girls Soccer team has consistently broken school records. The team achieved first-in-school-history milestones as Regional Finalists in 2024 and State Semi-Finalists in 2025, demonstrating the program's upward trajectory.
Life School's athletic philosophy extends beyond competition. The program is designed to develop leadership, character, and scholarship in every student-athlete, preparing them for success both on and off the field. Student-athletes learn teamwork, group responsibility, how to handle success, and how to overcome adversity—skills that serve them well beyond their playing days.
As a proud member of the University Interscholastic League (UIL), Life School competes against schools of similar sizes across Texas and has accumulated 70 district championships, 11 regional championships, and 11 state championships across all sports programs.
