The Life High School Waxahachie (LHSW) Theatre Program proudly presents “John Lennon & Me” on Saturday, November 19, 2022. The play is based on the comedic drama by Cherie Bennett. Open to the community, the performance will take place at the LHSW Black Box Theatre.
“John Lennon & Me,” a student-directed play, can be seen at the LHSW Black Box Theatre Saturday, November 19, at 1:30 PM and 3:00 PM. The LHSW Black Box Theatre is located at 170 Butcher Road, Waxahachie, TX 75165.
Life High School Waxahachie Senior and student director Nathalia Contreras says, “I am so excited to share the hard work of our theatre group with everyone! This show has shown me so much more than I could have known. And I am so grateful for sharing these memories with all of the cast and crew. I really couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with.”
Life High School Waxahachie Theatre Program Director and Life School Alumna Jacqueline Rose Cabrera says, “I am excited about this show! This is a student-directed play where a senior theatre student has served as a student director.” She also says that this is a show with a lot of heart. “This is a special play about a group of middle schoolers with terminal illnesses. Our theatre students have learned much from participating in this play.”
