On Friday, May 6th the Life High School Waxahachie (LHSW) varsity baseball team won the Region 2 Bi-District playoff game in an authoritative manner over North Dallas High School.
In a best of three game series, the Mustangs only needed two games to win handily. With a defeat of 13-3 in game one and 11-1 in game two, LHSW cemented their place as Bi-District Champions for the second straight year.
This week, the Mustangs will face off once again against the Celina Bobcats in the Area round of playoffs. A re-match of last year’s Area playoffs, the Mustangs are coming ready to repeat their upset of the Bobcats from 2021.
The best-of-three series kicks off Thursday, May 12th at 7PM in Wylie. A second game is set for Friday, May 13th at 7PM, with a third game scheduled for Saturday, if necessary. All games will be played at Wylie High School located at 2550 E. Farm to Market Rd 544, Wylie, TX.
