Teacher observation scores account for 40% of the final TIA scoring rubric. Only the scores from Domains II & III are accounted for from the teacher’s final summative rating.

Teacher appraisers are recertified once each year and will participate in calibrations across the district multiple times throughout the year to ensure fairness in rating regardless of the campus.
