- Homeschool athletes follow the same eligibility procedures as enrolled students
- PAPF is required if applicable
- The 15-day rule applies when relevant
- DEC hearing required if residency change occurred within 12 months
- Parent is responsible for testing
- Must use a nationally recognized norm-referenced test
- Score must be average or above
- Valid for current and following school year
Homeschool students are not allowed to participate in UIL activities sponsored by Life School during the remainder of any school year during which the student was previously enrolled in a public school.
- Not allowed to compete in the same sport in both UIL and another league simultaneously
- Allowed to participate in non-school teams outside UIL restrictions
