We regularly review compensation to make sure that wages at Life School are competitive with surrounding districts. While we cannot guarantee annual increases, Life School does have a consistent record of providing increases to be competitive with other districts in the area.

Up to 10% of the allotment funds may be used for costs associated with supporting a local designation system and to support teachers in obtaining designations, per TEC 48.112.

Teachers who qualify for a designation will receive the full 90% of the allotment.

Districts must expend the allotment funds by August 31st of each year. Teachers qualifying for designation will receive their state stipend by August 31st of the following year.
