Life School of Dallas Parent Update

iTech Academy

The mission of Life School is to develop leaders through strong academics, character training, and partnerships with parents and the community. Now, more than ever, it is important for us to be in partnership with our parents. Progress reports will be mailed home next week, but all parents have the opportunity to monitor their student’s progress throughout the school year. Please take a few minutes to watch these tutorial videos to learn how to sign up for and use the Parent Portal. Through the Parent Portal, you have the ability to access your student’s grades, email a teacher, and even set up notifications to be alerted of your student’s progress.

Also, many campuses have parent volunteer and engagement opportunities available. Please be sure to check out your student’s campus opportunities here!

Life School will begin to offer the Life School Parent iTech Academy for parents of secondary students beginning Tuesday, September 29th. Each 30-minute Life School Parent iTech Academy session is designed to be informational and hands-on to help parents learn how to navigate the tools our students are using. Please see your campus newsletters for details on how to register.

Tomorrow, September 25th is the deadline for any families who would like to change their student’s learning option from remote to face-to-face. If you wish to change your student’s learning option for the second nine weeks, please click here.

We also want to remind you that Fall Break is just around the corner. All Life School campuses will be closed Monday, October 12th through Friday October 16th. Please see the district calendar for additional information.

Thank you for your partnership!

Sincerely,
