Life School established a DSDC team with a subcommittee dedicated to developing the spending and funding plan for TIA at the beginning of the TIA process. This subcommittee developed questions and polled teachers and other stakeholders involved to both educate and obtain feedback on their preferences regarding the distribution of funds.

The DSCS hosted a TIA Townhall meeting where Life School’s spending plan was shared. The DSDC communications team also created a TIA website for Life School staff and regular district communications that update stakeholders on spending plan decisions.

For security reasons, we don't publish our response plan. However, each campus has been trained on active shooter situations and has protocols in place to ensure the safety of all students and staff.  

Life School will pay TIA compensation as supplemental pay which is in addition to the current district salary schedule.
