Life School Board Approves Raises for 2026-2027

As you will recall, last year the legislature approved permanent teacher raises of $2,500 for teachers with 3-4 years of experience and $5,000 for teachers with 5 or more years of experience. These adjustments were made to the teacher pay scale in accordance with the statute, and those increases will remain in place for the 2026-2027 school year.

In addition, for the 2026-2027 school year, the Life School Board approved the following for classroom teachers:

• A normal step increase based on years of experience
• An additional $1,000 increase to the teacher pay scale

Teachers currently paid above the scale will receive a $1,000 increase.

All other Life School staff will receive a 2.5% raise for the 2026-2027 school year.
