Title I eligibility is determined on an annual basis for all campuses based on the current percentage of economically disadvantaged students.

Life School worked with light engineers and also conducted a lighting study to ensure that stadium lights drop to zero foot candles before the property line.

One foot-candle is equal to one lumen per square foot, where a lumen is the total amount of visible light emitted by a source. A higher number of lumens indicates brighter light, while a lower number indicates dimmer light.  Foot-candles are commonly used by lighting professionals to calculate light levels in businesses and outdoor spaces.

Students will need to follow the current UIL charter school residence rules.  If a student lives in the Duncanville ISD attendance zone and selects this site at the first opportunity, they are varsity eligible.  Students who transfer to and live outside of Duncanville ISD attendance zone will not be varsity-eligible for 365 days.

No. Unlike traditional ISDs, charter school construction is not funded by local taxes. Life School is bond-rated, which means that Life School will provide its own funding to construct the school.
