An 8-foot-tall brick fence is planned for the back perimeter of the property to provide added security for students while also providing separation for neighbors on adjoining properties. The 8-foot height will help improve privacy for residents and the school.
The safety and security of our students and staff are our top priority. We follow all state requirements/guidelines for campus security across the district. We also regularly have a safety and security committee meeting to address additional needs/initiatives to keep students and staff safe.
Life School does not have guidelines for the length of hair. The school’s dress and grooming standards are designed to teach grooming and hygiene, instill discipline, prevent disruption, avoid safety hazards, and teach respect for authority. Students must come to school cleanly and neatly groomed and wearing clothing that will not be a health or safety hazard to the student or others, and that will not distract from or interfere with the educational atmosphere of the school.
