The Application Process
Open Enrollment (Application)
Charter schools are required by law for the application to be open at least 30 days before holding an enrollment lottery. The enrollment lottery ensures fairness by assigning a random order for applications.
Understand the Lottery
The lottery is held each year in mid-April.
Life School admits students of any race, color, nationality, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities of the school. Admission will not be based on gender, national origin, ethnicity, religion, disability, academic, artistic or athletic ability, or the district the child would otherwise attend.
Waiting List
Once all spaces are filled, families are placed on the waiting list. Applications received after the lottery are added to the waiting list in the order they are received.
Applying After the Lottery
New applications, after the lottery is complete, are offered enrollment or added to the waiting list in the order that they are received.
