The mission of the Life School Department of Curriculum and Instruction is to provide a viable curriculum through an instructional framework that enhances professional practices in order to develop all learners.
Elementary Curriculum
We are committed to providing a literacy-rich environment through meaningful instruction that will develop lifelong readers, purposeful writers, critical thinkers, and effective communicators in an ever-changing global society.
Our mission is to cultivate a mathematical growth mindset within the school community that encourages real-world connections, promotes number and computational fluency, and the application of critical thinking skills.
Our mission is to cultivate student scientists in a learning environment that fosters and supports curiosity, inquiry and critical thinking skills to prepare learners to be scientifically literate citizens.
The mission of Life School’s Social Studies Department is to educate future leaders through a curriculum that encompasses the study of human enterprise over time and space with a specific focus on the virtues of republicanism, liberalism, democracy, and ownership of one’s own labor.
Life Schools Elementary Specials classes challenge our students to achieve academic success and develop physical, social, and emotional skills, through physical education and multiple fine art opportunities.

Life School's Career and Technical Education department, along with community partners, will provide a comprehensive academic and technical learning experience that prepares students for leadership positions in the workforce and/or post secondary educational community.
