Dr. Horne is a lifelong educator driven by the belief that strong relationships, purposeful collaboration, and high expectations can transform student learning. Over nearly two decades in Texas public schools, he has served as a teacher-coach, assistant principal, principal at various campuses, Director of Instructional Support, and—most recently—Coordinator of Professional Development for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Across these roles, Dallas has led dual-language programs, campus turnarounds, and created district-wide systems that empower teachers to grow and excel.
Dr. Horne earned his Ed.D. in Leadership and Technology from Tarleton State University, an M.Ed. in Education from Dallas Baptist University, and a B.S. in Secondary Education–Social Studies from Nelson University. He also holds Texas Superintendent, Principal, and Social Studies (8-12) certifications.
Dr. Horne has been married to Brittany for 16 years, and together they have four kids: Dilynn (13), Bennett (10), Collins (8), and Beckham (6).
Whether coaching a faculty team through data-driven instruction or cheering on his kids from the sidelines, Dallas brings energy, empathy, and a clear vision for equitable success. He is excited to be joining Life School to create vibrant learning communities where every learner—and educator—thrives.
