AI-Generated Graphics & Brand Guidelines

As AI tools evolve, we have noticed more campuses turning to AI design to create graphics for newsletters, flyers, social media, and classroom materials. While they are convenient, we are also seeing AI-generated slop creep in, especially with warped or altered versions of our Life School and mascot logos.

A few things to keep in mind going forward:

  • AI tools are great for inspiration, but they aren't reliable when it comes to logos, mascots, or anything brand-specific unless you use a tool that allows strict brand enforcement. Always double-check before you print or post.
  • Don't assume AI is 100% accurate. AI tools make mistakes or hallucinate. Do not become complacent and skip the step of reviewing all content for accuracy. AI can distort text, colors, and details in ways that aren't obvious at a glance. Give every graphic a close look before it goes out. But, issues aren't limited to design. Some AI tools make up information, even details you didn't intend to include.
  • Follow the brand guide. Our official logos, colors, and mascot artwork are all available at lifeschool.net/marketing.
  • Non-compliant social media posts and campus posters/signs will be removed. Social media content that doesn't follow brand guidelines — including altered or AI-generated logos — will be taken down.

If you are ever unsure whether something is on-brand, please reach out to marketing@lifeschools.net before posting. We're happy to help, and we would prefer to catch it beforehand rather than cause you the inconvenience of us taking it down after your efforts.

Thank you for helping us keep Life School looking like Life School.
