Life School Will Open Friday, February 25

All Life School campuses and the Life School Central Office will be open on Friday, February 25. All extracurricular activities, athletic practices and games will resume as scheduled unless otherwise communicated.

We encourage families to dress their students with warm hats and coats as they head to school tomorrow. Stay warm, and we will see you in the morning.

Continuing to Monitor Road Conditions

Life School continues to monitor road conditions for areas of concern.

In the event of a weather cancellation, parents and staff will be notified via text, email and a recorded phone message. Updates will be posted to Facebook, Twitter, and the Life School website in addition to local news media outlets.

We will make every effort to make a final decision about school closure by 5 AM, Friday, February 25.

Please Note: no special messages will be sent if school is taking place as scheduled, only in the event of cancellations.

Life School Early Dismissal, Thursday Closure

Due to winter weather, Life School campuses will dismiss early today, Wednesday, February 23.

All elementary campuses and Life Middle School Waxahachie will dismiss at 1:00 PM.

Life High School Waxahachie and Life School Oak Cliff Secondary will dismiss at 1:30 PM.

All Life School campuses and the Life School Central Office will also be closed on Thursday, February 24. Extracurricular activities, athletic practices and games have also been canceled. No decision relating to Friday, February 25, has been made at this time.

After-school Activities Canceled (2/23), Monitoring Weather

The DFW area is expected to receive winter weather this afternoon and evening. For the safety of students and staff, Life School is canceling all after-school activities for Wednesday, February 23.

No after-school care (Powerhouse, Lighthouse Learning Center, Cov Kids, After School All Stars) will be provided today. Parents will receive separate communication from their after-school care provider.

We will continue to monitor weather conditions throughout the day to determine whether conditions will impact school for Thursday. No determination has been made at this time.
