Life School Lancaster Elementary News & Notes

Waxahachie, TX, February 1, 2022 – The Covid-19 era has ushered in wide-ranging challenges from empty store shelves to long lines at the DMV, and public education has not been unaffected. School districts toil to keep students from falling behind, support teacher mental health, and ensure the doors stay open to address the growing reality that most students learn best in a traditional classroom setting.

In the spirit of giving, Life School student-athletes and staff stepped up their volunteer efforts this year to assist those in need throughout the community. From food pantries to clothing closets, and mentorship opportunities - students exercised citizenship and gained hands-on experience while giving back. 

Life School, a public charter school district operating in North Texas, has recently appointed three new members to serve on the Board of Directors.

Life School officials announced that the district received an “A” rating for “Superior Achievement” under Texas’ 2020-2021 Charter FIRST financial accountability rating system.
