Mastering the Basics
Logging In
There are several ways to login to Parentsquare: 1) from the Extranet frequent tools menu; 2) from Classlink; and 3) from Parentsquare.com.
Personalizing Your Account
You can control how you receive notifications. As a first step, we recommend personalizing your notification settings.
Creating Team Posts or Newsletters
Does your teacher team have one person who creates posts for your entire team to use? Check out our best practice for collaborative posts.
The Power of Posts
Create posts, send messages, add calendar items, and learn how to add volunteer sign-ups, item donations, and more.
Scheduling Teacher Conferences
Teachers can use the scheduling feature to make appointment times available, such as parent-teacher meetings. Parents can then reserve a time.
Scheduling Teacher Conferences
Send direct messages to one or many parents or students. Messages will be auto-translated into their preferred language. And the communication will be saved for future reference.

Seeking Help with Technical Issues
If you encounter technical issues, support can be provided based on the type of assistance you require.
Training for Campus Administrators
Sending Alerts
Sending alerts allows you to send quick emails and texts to parents. Be mindful not to overuse this feature. But, it can be a powerful way for campus leaders to reach families.
Assigning Roles and Permissions
While principals can assign roles in a pinch, we encourage principals to allow Marketing to handle role assignments. Requests can be sent to marketing@lifeschools.net.
Attendance Notifications
Attendance notifications have already been setup for each campus. Each day when notifications send to parents, the campus PEIMS Clerk receives a delivery report.
Communicating with Subs
Principals can create special groups to communicate with subs who frequent their campus. Watch this video and then check out "Creating Custom or Parent Groups."
Special Roles: Enrollment Liaisons
Enrollment Liaisons are able to assist principals with posting events/announcements. More importantly, Liaisons control the content in Frontline, which syncs nightly to ParentSquare.
Special Roles: Counselors / Testing Coordinators
Counselors and Testing Coordinators have special access to create special groups and communicate with a wide range of students.
Updating Parent Contact Info
Liaisons are an important part of updating parent contact info. By updating info in Frontline, the data is updated nightly in ParentSquare.
Sending Newsletters
Campus or grade-level newsletters can be sent by creating the newsletter in ParentSquare or by embedding your newsletter from S'more.
Athletic Teams and Other Groups
Communicating with Teams During Summer
Coaches, Band Directors, and other teams can communicate with students during summer by using Custom Groups. Custom groups can be made by selection, import, or by QR-code or link sign-up.
