Life School Receives Funding for Classroom Library Books

Funds from the Snapdragon Book Foundation will equip more than twenty 1st grade classroom libraries with 300 books that will include a wide variety of genres. Developing a love for reading early in life helps students to become successful readers. In-classroom libraries will enrich the learning experience for students by giving them direct and immediate access to stories they can enjoy.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of The Snapdragon Book Foundation and the impact it has made on our campus. We thank them for supporting our campus.” says LSOCE principal, Anita Sanders.

Life School is committed to ensuring that every student is reading on grade-level by the third grade. Having access to books is essential to student success. Life School is grateful for the generosity of The Snapdragon Book Foundation and the opportunities that the funding will provide.
