Parent Update | 10.29.20
Dear Life School Families
We are pleased to announce that beginning Tuesday, November 3rd, all breakfasts, and lunches will be free for all students regardless of income or qualifications.
These meals will be available for our face-to-face learners on campus, as well as our remote learners remaining at home. Students who are face-to-face learners can receive breakfast and lunch in the school cafeteria and will also be able to purchase a-la-carte items separately. Parents picking up grab-and-go meals will need to provide acceptable identification (i.e. student ID, report card, birth certificate) for each child, age 18 and under.
This program is available through numerous waivers issued from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Texas Department of Agriculture and is administered by our food service partner, Sodexo. This free meal program will continue through the end of the 2020-2021 school year.
It is still very important that parents and guardians fill out the free and reduced application for this year, especially if the family’s financial situation has changed. This will ensure your student will continue to have access to meals and other valuable resources on campus once the waivers expire.
We look forward to continuing to serve our families.
