The Oak Cliff athletic department would like to recognize Coach Lena Lilly for January's Coach's Spotlight. This is Coach Lilly's first year in the athletic department, coaching JH girls' basketball, and has made a remarkable impact on our student-athletes. She is very intentional about building relationships with parents and stakeholders and is eager to help out whenever possible. We are honored to have Coach Lilly as part of the Lions Athletic Department.
This month Life High School Waxahachie athletics has chosen Jennifer McCord. Jennifer began as the Assistant Athletic trainer in the fall of this school year. She is from New Boston. Coach McCord attended SFA in 2020 and received her Athletic Training license at UTA in 2022. Jennifer resides in Mansfield with her 2 dogs Bruno and Boomer. Coach McCord also teaches 3 classes of Sports Med along with her Assistant Athletic Training responsibilities. Jennifer models our athletic mission statement by developing relationships with our students to make them better leaders. Jennifer works extremely hard, and we are excited to have her as part of the Mustang family. A Leadership Attribute I would give to Coach McCord is Self-Managed. She utilizes her strengths well in order to achieve her goals.
