Life High School Oak Cliff April Coach Spotlight
Coach Boyefio does a great job supporting the athletic department and stepping in wherever needed. Even though Coach B coaches multiple sports, he opted to take on an additional duty and fill the void when the athletic department needed him most, and he did so with no hesitation. He is self-managed and adapts to any situation that comes his way. Coach B’s global perspective allows him to navigate his daily duties effectively, seeing things through everyone's lens. He’s become a great resource for our student-athletes and we are truly grateful that Coach B is part of the Lion Nation!
Life High School Waxahachie April Coach Spotlight
Coach Linscomb is in his 13th year with Life School. He graduated from New Caney High School in 1994. He graduated from SAGU in 2000 and received his Masters degree from Concordia University in 2017. His wife Jerri is also in education, and they have three sons that have attended Life School. Blake graduated in 2017. Stephen graduated in 2021. Seth is a current Life School student finishing up his 10th-grade year. Coach Linscomb teaches upper-level BIM classes for Life School and coaches as an assistant football and Head Track coach. In track Coach Linscomb (known as Coach Linny to many of his athletes) has had tremendous success in developing a strong track program here at Life High School Waxahachie. Just a few of the many accomplishments are - 13 district championships, 11 area championships, 2 regional championships, 2 State 3rd place finishes and 3 Individual state champions. Coach Linscomb was also named Ellis County Coach of the Year 2021-22. A Leadership Attribute I would give to Coach Linscomb would be Goal Oriented. He challenges his athletes to set realistic expectations and utilize their strengths and abilities to help the team succeed. We are so glad to have Coach Linscomb in our Mustang family.
