One of the things that sets Life School apart from other districts is the amount of support teachers receive.
Some of the available supports include:
- On-going professional development through the support of district coordinators and campus instructional coaches (including a Bilingual Instructional Coach at the Oak Cliff Campus).
- Curriculum resources to support pacing, lesson creation, lesson implementation, and differentiation.
- Professional Learning Community (PLC) time is scheduled at all campuses to help teachers work together to enhance teaching practices and support student learning.
- Each new teacher is paired with a mentor teacher for the first year
- Administrative support on campus norms and expectations
