General Information

Gifted & Talented Remote Learning Plan

Goal

Gifted and Talented Services are provided to identified students according to the defined District Service Plan within the remote learning platforms. There are no modifications to the Service Plan, rather there are modifications to the modalities by which Services are delivered – i.e. the District prescribed remote learning platforms and environments.

Identification

In the case that identification is necessary while the District remains in a 100% remote learning format, GT identification will be conducted according to the District defined Special Programs testing protocols. Gifted and Talented assessments must be conducted on campus and face to face so exceptions to the District GT testing windows may be required in accordance with District directives regarding campus shut down and related limitations. The Fall referral window is October 19 – 30, 2020.
