Johnathan Griffin joined Life School Oak Cliff in 2013 as a Middle School Math Teacher. Since that time, he has served in multiple roles including Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, and now proudly leads the campus as Principal. Throughout his tenure, Mr. Griffin has been dedicated to cultivating a positive and collaborative campus culture where students are supported, staff are empowered, and families feel connected.
Mr. Griffin earned both his Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences and Master of Educational Administration from Texas A&M University – Commerce. A strong believer in servant leadership, he works diligently to foster meaningful relationships and ensure every student has access to high-quality learning experiences. He is especially passionate about mentoring staff, guiding student growth, and creating systems that support long-term success.
Outside of school, Mr. Griffin cherishes spending quality time with his family and enjoys activities that bring them together and create lasting memories. He cares deeply about the Life School Oak Cliff community and leads with a genuine heart, a clear purpose, and a strong belief in the potential of every student.
