We don't have a PTO. Our parent organization is called Partners for Life and includes opportunities for parents to be involved on campuses. You can sign up for Partners for Life by clicking Partners for Life on our Parent Resources page.

A request form is available online to request transportation from LSCH or LSMC to LMSW.

The buses will load at Mountain Creek and Cedar Hill campuses promptly at 6:30 a.m. and leave the campuses at 6:35 a.m. each morning. Students missing the morning route will be allowed to ride the bus back to their original campus from LMSW. The busses return from LMSW no later than 10 minutes after the end of the school day (3:15 p.m.). Students not on the bus at that time will need to find an alternate ride home. Busses are expected to arrive back at the LSMC and LSCH campuses around 3:45 p.m.

Life School does not offer bus transportation system wide. Life School does offer limited transportation to Waxahachie Middle School for families from the Cedar Hill and Mountain Creek campuses who wish to continue with Life School beyond elementary school. A transportation form is circulated before the start of the school year for families to sign up to participate.

Life School does not have a full bus system. However, we do provide round-trip bus transportation from Life School Mountain Creek Elementary and Life School Cedar Hill Elementary to our Waxahachie Middle School campus for parents who register for transportation. Due to limited capacity, transportation is provided on a first come first serve basis.

Life School has resources to support families in transition. Please contact the district Special Programs Coordinator to obtain more information.

You can complete the free or reduced lunch application online each year by visiting the Parents page of your campus website or from the Back to School website.

Please check directly with your child's teacher to obtain more information on snack time. Snacks and snack time vary by campus or classroom.

Meal prices are provided in the student handbook each year. You can view the student handbook online.

To add money to your child's lunch account, set up an account at My School Bucks. The District Name is “Life School.” You will need your child's name, ID number and campus name. Be sure to change the location to the campus name or the system will not locate your student. There is a processing fee for using the online payment system, just like with any other online purchase. If you prefer, parents can also send money to school with the student. To do so, put it in an envelope with the student’s name, ID number, grade level, campus and label it “Lunch Money.” Your child can pay with it at breakfast or at lunch. Or, if they give it to the teacher, the teacher will know how to handle it if you provide the information above.

During lunch, your child scans their ID to receive their lunch.

An elementary school supply list is provided each year from the Parents page of the campus website in the District Information section.

Middle and High school students do not have a standard supply list. If specific supplies are needed, your teacher will provide a list for your student.

Each campus has a designated lost and found area. Please contact your child's campus about accessing the lost and found.

Please check directly with your child's campus to obtain school codes for prepackaged school supplies.

School hours and drop off times vary by campus. You can view the Bell Schedule for your campus from the campus website. Select your campus, and then choose either "About" or "Parents" from the top menu. You can access the Bell Schedule from there.

You can sign your child up for before- or after-school care at any time throughout the year by contacting our partner at your campus. For a list of partners by campus, visit here. The cost for before- and after-school care will vary by provider.
