The mascot depends on which school – Carrollton Cardinals; Cedar Hill Cougars; Lancaster Bears; Mountain Creek Eagles; Oak Cliff Lions; Red Oak and Waxahachie Mustangs.

Life School has several campuses. The Life High School Waxahachie team is the Mustangs. The Life High School Oak Cliff team is the Lions.

We encourage all athletes to ride the bus to and from games. However, parents are permitted to sign their student out with the coach.

Yes, we offer summer camps. Information will be distributed by each campus through the physical education classes. Information will also be available from the parent page on the website.

The athletic fee is $75 for the first student, and then $25 for each additional student.

You can speak with your athletic coordinator and trainer within 30 days to submit a claim. It is important to report the claim in a timely manner.

To participate in Life School sports you must be enrolled in the athletic period. Athletes stay in the athletic period the entire school year to improve skill, strength and speed.

The varsity letter will be awarded to an athlete who satisfies the participation requirements outlined in our Student Athletic Handbook. The athletic handbook is located on our athletic websites. Life School will pay for the jacket. Families pay for any additional customizations.

Life School has a full-time athletic trainer and an Assistant Athletic Trainer at secondary campuses.

Life School carries a supplemental accident insurance for all extracurricular activities. This policy is a supplemental policy. We recommend that student-athletes maintain a primary insurance coverage at all time.

Each team creates a communication group to communicate with families throughout the year. This includes sending important information like location/times of athletic parent meetings, how to buy uniforms, etc.

Yes. Each middle school and high school holds an informational parent meeting before each season.

Yes. We encourage your child to play multiple sports.

No, each student must try out for each athletic team.

If time permits, Life School takes athletes to a restaurant before the game. Athletes provide their own money.

Yes, we provide bus transportation to practice and games.

Waxahachie middle school football plays at Life High School Waxahachie. Oak cliff middle school plays at the Life High School Oak Cliff football field.

Middle school volleyball plays their home games at Life High School Waxahachie. 7th grade basketball plays at Life School Lancaster. 8th grade basketball plays at Life High School Waxahachie.

We do not allow students to transfer out of athletics and switch to PE except for extenuating circumstances.
